Our Families

Jacob’s Heart has served over 360 families since 1998. We have had an amazing opportunity to witness the strength and endurance families have when dealing with childhood cancer. While families are challenged with the impact of a serious illness upon a child, they come together with unbinding love and compassion that is almost indescribable. These families have shared their story with us, and we welcome you to discover their journey.

Please plan to join us at "Hot Rods for Kids" on Saturday, July 13 at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds! Our local business community is hosting a car show from 10:00am - 5:00pm benefiting Jacob’s Heart. You can meet Mav’Ricks, the Santa Cruz Warriors Mascot, and hear live music by Harry and the Headhunters, Los High Tops, The Cranks, the Stock Shots and Be Natural. In addition, there will be lots of fantastic raffle prizes! The event is free to attend, and it will be a very fun, exciting and hot rod day!

EVENTS

Don't forget, we are walking in the Human Race on May 11th, organizing a Pancake Breakfast for June 2nd, planning Hot Rods for Kids on July 13th (see above), and preparing for Kidrageous on Sept. 22nd. Stay tuned to learn more about each event!
Wish List

Please help us restore our pantry to support our families' needs!

Families traveling to and from the hospitals are currently in need of nonperishable foods. Help us collect items such as tuna, soups, chili, canned fruits, pastas, jelly, peanut butter, apple sauce, rice, cereals, and oatmeal. Additional items needed include diapers, unscented baby wipes, laundry detergent, shampoo and soaps.

We also need the following:
Valero, Chevron or Shell gas cards
Safeway or Mi Pueblo grocery cards
$10 Target cards for our children's birthdays
Art supplies
